The Cloverdale to Greenwood (now known as Elk) Stage route coursed its way up what is now Hwy 128 through Yorkville and over to Mountain House in Boonville, a journey requiring eight hours, depending on weather and road conditions. The following day the stage continued on to the coast.
The van is the the first breast cancer awareness tour.
