Description

Here's a view of the Winsor Dam from the east, looking south below the Dam. The Dam was constructed in the 1930's as one of two main structures holding back the branches of the Swift River in central Massachusetts, and forming the Quabbin Reservoir. The Reservoir is the source of drinking water for much of easteren Massachusetts including Boston.
