This portion of the wall consists on Normandy barriers, which are vehicle barriers. It is permeable to mammal species which can go underneath, but I am not certain that deer and other ungulates can cross, given the combination of both, height and width of the barrier. The southern portion of the valley, in Agua Prieta, Sonora Mexico, was home of the only population of Chihuahan pronghorn in Sonora, to the north of the valle, in Arizona, pronghorn are abundant.
