- Description

Black Hill is one of the volcanic peaks of the valley between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay, California. It is 661 feet above sea level, and provides a lovely view of Morro Bay and its "pet rock."
This panorama spans Morro Bay, the view to the south at Baywood Park, and the lovely marine area of Morro Bay. To the southeast is the valley that leads to San Luis Obispo, about 12 miles away.
