- Description
-
Lobota's full name is Quercus lobata, meaning the lobed oak due to the shape of its leaves. It is commonly know as the California Valley Oak and is immensely popular with picknickers and wine tasters. A very few of which might say "I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobatomy" Wine has to be involved before that is funny.
The showing the overwhemling presence of this oak was really the purpose of this photo. All around it really puts it in scale.
