Description

This site is located at 1,111 m (3,645 ft) ASL on Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park. On April 26, 2012 the snowpack was 5.7 m (18.7 ft) deep and contained 2.6 m (8.5 ft) of water equivalent. Glacier movement at this location is approximately 6 cm/day (2 in/day). The glacier is 361 m (1,184 ft) thick at this location.
