For this last of three GigaPans of Opening Day I moved my ladder location to include the palm tree, after all it is California! (did I mention that I am shooting these, as I do most of the time from my 8ft ladder to give a better vantage point, I have a ballhead attached to the top)
View to Chavez Ravine, Dodger baseball stadium and downtown Los angeles, California. Opening day April 10, 2012, the 50th Anniversary of Dodger Stadium.
I wanted to shoot an aerial photo from a helicopter of the stadium but Homeland Security closed the sky for three miles around the stadium so I had to settle for doing three GigaPans overlooking the scene from Elysian Park .
At about a mile from the stadium, the distance for these shots pushed the limits of the zoom on my little Nikon CoolpixP5100, GigaPan is made from 50 images.

How many cars can you count? - the game was sold out and the Dodgers won!
This is my 87th GigaPan.
