View to Chavez Ravine, Dodger baseball stadium and downtown Los angeles, California. Opening day April 10, 2012.
I wanted to shoot an aerial photo from a helicopter of the stadium but Homeland Security closed the sky for three miles around the stadium so I had to settle for doing three GigaPans from Elysian Park overlooking the scene.
The distance for these shots pushed the limits of the zoom on my little Nikon CoolpixP5100, GigaPan #2 is made up from 66 images.
