Taos Pueblo - Hard to describe! A World Heritage site whc.unesco.org/en/list/492 Will open in a new tab or window and aliving community. The pueblo is made of adobe, which has the advantage of being an excellent insulation.
I visited in the wintertime, so, not a lot of people around, not to mention snow on the ground, and ice on the stream behind me.
