Description

An Ulam Spiral is a pattern of numbers, a spiral arrangement of prime numbers. This image is the result of layering 2000 "Iterations" of the Ulam Spiral. An "Ulam Iteration" is a term I coined when I came up with the idea of skipping squares in the integer spiral to reveal new structures. I just wanted to see what it looked like when uploaded onto a Gigapixel website.
