Description

Crater Lake is a huge caldera in the South of Oregon. It was formed around 7,000 years ago with the eruption and subsequent collapse of Mount Mazama. Since then there have been further eruptions in the caldera, resulting in the cone shaped land mass now known as Wizard's island.
