Earth Platinum, the largest atlas in the world, was launched at the Abu Dhabi National Center for Documentation and Research on 12th June 2012.

The atlas contains many gigapan shots, so it was only fitting that we gigapan the event.

Earth Platinum is published by Millennium House of Australia. It is a limited edition of only 30 prints, which retail for USD 100,000 each. Editions have been bought by museums, libraries and private collectors.

This particular shot is a combination of three gigapans taken at the event, as the process often results in dismembering people who move about while the shot is being taken.
