I had to check for a moment that this wasn't a collection of my own! Great image and an even better taste!

Ok, so here is some evidence that explore scores are not (simply) related to explore scores: 661.org.uk/misc/explore_scores_and _numbers_of_snapshots.html Will open in

I don't know if you are referring to this shot's high score or its longevity at the top of the table. With regard to the latter I think explore scores have not been updated for six months, so I just got lucky there. As far as snapshots are concerned, I'm not sure how true that is. I will use my stats database to see if there is any correlation between explore score and snapshots.

It would appear that having lots of snapshots is the key to a high Explore Score. Either that, or the world is fascinated with the minutia of your life, Kilgore.

So Harry is a 'playboy' prince? I didn't know that. Also, if her majesty would like me to gigapan any of her collections or the state of her carpets then I will be only to happy to oblige (I will need travelling expenses ma'am).

You should tell the Queen of your good fortune and seek her royal permission to stand just inside the Palace balcony and take a GigaPan when Prince Harry gets married ... you might mention to her that practice makes perfect :) www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2 177933/London-Olympics-2012-Prince-Harry-Prince-Wi lliam-Kate-Middleton-30-different-events.html?ICO= most_read_module Will open in

198! Amazing! Who needs to take gigapans of presidential inaugurations or hot women in Shanghai wearing red stilettos? :-)

Here you go ... another winning competition for gigapan.com/gigapans/105851/snapsho ts/282427 ... all I did was to rotate my iPad and then could easily see the words ... SINGAPORE ... which translates into Bingo ... another Cuban cigar :) You are the one that should get a case of Cuban cigars as this GigaPan has now reached an astronomical altitude in explore score ... 198

Aye, strange but true. With a massive tally of 278 views this image is apparently more popular than e.g. the one of Obama's inaugration with its 11 million plus views. I know that 'popularity' is a misnomer and what is actually being measured is 'explorability' but it still seems odd to me that my 287 viewers have looked at more pixels in my image than the 11 million plus viewers looked at in the Obama gigapan. I asked Customer Service if there was a bug in the Explore Score calculation but they didn't give me a straight answer (yet).

This is indeed the top GigaPan (at the moment), and I hope to be able to afford a ticket to see the real thing!

When I visit Bath, will I be able to go into Kilgore's home and see this "event"??? ... sort of like going into Herschel's home and seeing his workbench: gigapan.com/gigapans/36546

Truly amazing shot(s)! I can't stop exploring! I like the mix of the average quality of the family photo taken I believe years ago with the quality of the rest of the GigaPan.

Kilgore ... this GigaPan of yours took off quicker than a rocket ... when you did the stats less than a week ago, the explore score was zero, and now in only a couple of days, it has reached an explore score of 177 ... pretty astonishing ... congratulations ... you may want to reload the Bath Sweet Shop GigaPan ... it might goto 277 :)
