  7. Rim Rock Road just past the east entrance to the Colorado National Monument.

  8. The overlook at the end of Otto's trail. The trail is named after John Otto, who lobbied Teddy Roosevelt and congress to get the area declared a National Monument. The Area in front of the overlook is called Monument Canyon. Lens: 50mm, F20, 1/100 sec. ISO 200

  9. Colorado National Monument. The end of the Coke Ovens trail. The Coke Ovens are so named because the formation resembles 3 "beehive" coke ovens. This is overlooking from the end of the trail. The settings were: 100mm, ISO 200, F-20, 1/40 sec exposure. No filter, just a lenshood.

  10. This is a hand-held panorama I took while mountain biking near Fruita, Colorado. I shot it with a Canon G9 and used Photoshop CS3 to stitch the photograph together. Steve's Loop makes a loop on two levels of canyon rim. Lion's Loop overlooks these two levels on a third level of canyon rim.
