The wheat is just about ready to be harvested in this part of western Kansas and though this year's yield will not match that of recent years, this particular field looks to be in pretty good shape. To shoot the wheat with a maximal depth of focus I minimized the aperture, maybe a bit too much. There wasn't much breeze, but with the longer exposures necessary to shoot at this aperture caused a number of the shots to be blurred a bit. Oh well, I'm still learning. I know I spotted a few ring-necked pheasants flying in the distance, but I'm skeptical that I caught any in the GigaPan. -- Ron Schott
