  1. Anza Borrega is a California State Park on the East side of San Diego County. This dry habitat is alive at night with the howl of coyotes and the call of owls. Large moths come out at night to pollenate the cactus and trees. Sunset causes an immediate drop in temperature that changes as fast as the light disappears.

  2. Light skips off of surfaces in a way that highlights grazing angles. Shadow and angles determine brightness, and slopes are revealed.

  4. The big sky above the golden vines gave us color and contrast. Clouds are elusive and changing, so rapid capture was required. Many subjects benefit from having a sky and this was one of them.

  5. A man made oasis for water storage, recreation, and habitat. Tax money well spent. Most of these rolling hills are part of a park with extenisve trails and great views.
