This is a roadcut/drivewaycut along Shore Airport Road, just northeast of Ticonderoga, New York.
My primary goal in shooting this macroGigaPan was to illustrate sedimentary structures including those spectacular weathered crossbeds near the bottom of this image.
Can you make out any other interesting sedimentary structures?
