Description

The Helicopter pad at Base Primavera had a great view of Cierva Cove. We spend some time taking in the view and making photographs.

I was surprised by all of this green in Antarctica. The rocks were verdent with grasses and mosses, and we had to watch where we stepped to avoid the vegetation.

The ice of Cierva Cove is a magnificent sight, either from the helicopter pad or from the deck of a zodiac.

To the geologists among you, I hope that you enjoy the rocks of the Antarctic Peninsula,
