- Description
-
We visited this small exposed island that is situated just northwest of the extreme tip of the Antarctic Peninsula. We landed at the end of the day, and caught the local population as it was settling in for the late summer night.
The rocks were barren of plants, but lichens added their colors to the landscape. There were plenty of fur seals and Gentoo and Chinstrap Penguins to bring the island to life.
The twilight lingered and painted the snow and sea in shades of peach with blue shadows.
The 9 frames of this image were shot with a Nikon D80 and stitched with Autopano Pro.
