That will be a fun and powerful tool for visualization and infotainment. Stereo is not just how we see, it is how we think. Stereo also allows range mapping and photgrammetry. You will be having some fun now with this. Stereo still photography and movies are easy to make and view if you know about Suto's StereoPhoto Maker, StereoMovie Maker, StereoData maker and more at: stereo.jpn.org/eng

Interesting you should mention that, John, because that's exactly what my weekend project is. We've just got a GeoWall setup installed here at Fort Hays State University in the Geosciences Department and my weekend project is to get the two projectors working together. Should make for some interesting lectures...

This one works especially well. Ron, it is nice that you are reposting your images as stereo pairs. Crossed viewing works very well for me and I love to see 3D in full color rather than using anaglyph. It would be possible to project these as polarized stereo images using polarizers in front of a pair of projectors and a silver (non-depolarizing) screen. The computer would have to be set up with and extended desktop with the page spannning across the two displays. Just like RealD cinemas!
