In the far Northeast corner of Arizona (USA) lies the Spiritual Landscape and Geology of Monument Valley. A Geological story of hundreds of millions of years of sediment buildup and then erosion by the elements leaving what we see today as free standing buttes, towers of the hardest uneroded rock. A Spiritual Landscape to the Navajo Indians and others for centuries it is also well known worldwide for being the background to numerous American Western movies and other subjects from Sci-Fi to cartoons.
This classic view point scene of the valley is made up of 60 shots using a Nikon Coolpix P5100, 12mp. GigaPan Epic 100. ¬©John Post - www.johnpost.com Will open in a new tab or window.
