The vitrophyre is the black, obsidian-like band at the left of the roadcut. There are also an interesting pair of faults near the center of the image.

I had hoped to catch this roadcut a bit earlier in the day, but I only got here a little later than I wanted to. Nevertheless, the lighting wasn't as bad as I had feared when shooting the GigaPan.
