120216 - Costa Rica, Area de Conservacion (ACG), Volcan Cacao, 1,000 m

Another beautiful day for heading up Cacao. I drove the Jimmy all the way to the crater - and the road was much drier and easier. Many Pachycondyla here - Pheidole too. The GigaPan was 22x42 and was taken just down the hill from site 1. 19C and windy, sunny and dry all day. A large woodpecker was working above me for a little while. Traps were out from 8:45 - 2:45. Then off to Liberia for antibiotic cream for my infected wrist.
