This dry parire is located northwest of Lake Okeechobee. The praire is a flatland located on a sand substrate. It is a home for mixed herbs and grasses such as bushy bluestem (Andropogon glomeratus), and wiregrass (Aristida stricta). For more information on grasses visit the website: floridagrasses.org/index.htm
The trees are sable palms.
