Setting up bat mist nets in Kackabech, Belize.
Panorama shot as night was falling and the bat crew were putting up the mist nets to catch bats. Mayan pyramids are behind the camera, and behind the nets.
We found a five foot long fer de lance here. Effectively contained with Craig Willis' "snake watch" protocol until the night's netting was done.
Eciton and Pachycondyla apicalis were found here too.
