- Description
-
The source of the glacial run off is evident. The nearly vertical walls pack with ice and eroded the rock with their crawling movments. The mix if moving ice and granite bits scour the rock face and creates dust that is smaller than 100 nanometers in diameter. These fine particulates cloud the water and scatter blue light, while longe wavelengths penetrate and are absorbed.
