Description

This pristine lake is at about 11,000 feet in the East Sierra. Permits for hiking and camping are required. A pack station is available if one wants to have mules take their gear up here.

Our National Parks and Forrest Service do a remarkable job of satisfying many land users very well. Our land is used without being used up.
