This is an experiment, a giga-pixel image created out of 80,000 tiled photo images using AndreasMosaic software on a MAC. As you zoom in very close it is possible to see the actual individual images (pulled from Flickr) that make up this panorama. AndreaMosaic was used to generate the mosaic from the original panorama on a iMac G5 dual core, which took about 1 hour. Photoshop was used to combine the 5 output JPEG files from AndreaMosaic and save as a"raw" file for upload to Gigapan.org .

I have no idea about the "0" header, but it sounds like you have it right.

Thank you for your support. What do you mean by channel ? RGB ? For the rest of the specs, the file name is Rouen_107537x17621.raw, it is a RGB format in 8 bits and I chose interleaved with 0 for the header. Does it look like what you are doing ?

Try export export as a photoshop .raw file (not a camera raw file) for images that are very large, the file name needs to have the Photoshop dimensions included. example: filename_26384x16432.raw 1. include dimensions in file name 2. choose 8 bit 3. enter 3 channels (I think that the default may be 1 channel in photoshop) 4. choose interleaved

This an amazing job !! At first I was telling myself that there was a bit of noise in your image and then ... A miracle. This is just incredible. I love it !! About raw format, can you tell me what are the specs or options to be respected so that the uploader software will work correctly ?
