TimeScience is working with Alta Ski Area's Environmental Center to develop protocols for using gigapixel imagery to facilitate earlier detection and remediation of mountain pine bark beetle infestations in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah.

This image, taken from just above Collins lift by the weather station, looking East.

This version of the image was post processed in Photoshop. Contrast and brightness were increased to help idsentify blark beetle infested trees. it lowers the image quality for the snow and background of the image but it makes the red in the trees a lot more visible.
