Canon PowerShot S5IS
One of the iconic stops along the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, Redwall Cavern has been carved out by historic high water flows before the upriver dams were in place.
This GigaPan was interrupted by the loss of battery life and the position shifted in replacing the batteries. The position of other things shifted as well. People moved around and appear more than once in the image, so did my case.
Grand Canyon GigaView is a new school virtual tour of the Grand Canyon created with a collection of GigaPan images taken on a private rafting trip in April 2010 and geolocated in Google Earth. Explore the journey grandcanyongigaview.tumblr.com /
Search for it here on GigaPan.org or dive into the day by day trip report at the link above. Enjoy & please share with your networks!
Thanks for your interest in my work.
