Here's a wintertime look at one of my favorite Twin Cities views: the Mississippi River from the Guthrie Theater's "Endless Bridge," a huge cantilevered balcony. To examine this view in summer, see gigapan.org/gigapans/25023/
This near the winter solstice, the Twin Cities get less than nine hours of daylight a day. This panorama, with its low slanting light, was taken at around 3:30 in the afternoon.
