Epic 100

A first trial of a wide angle view of the Baie des Trépassés at lowest tide.
The Baie the Trépassés offers a unique cross-section across the "South Armorican Shear Zone". On the northern side of the Baie (left) one encounters the mylonitized Sizun trondhjemite, cataclasites, sheared Stephanian deposits, and Stephanian conglomerates. The central part of the depression is occupied by a Stephanian pull-apart basin. On the southern side of the Baie (right) one encounters again fault gouges, cataclasites and the mylonitized Pointe du Raz granite.
