Description

HDR Gigapan taken from the top of Mt Pinatubo Volcano in Philippines. The volcano last erupted in 1994 causing massive damage around the surround area still highly evident today. During the trip to the volcano you will see many homes and buildings still buried up to the roof in lahar. This trek to the volcanoes crater takes approximately 4hours each way and is well worth the trip. A construction of a skyway or express route to cut the trek to 2 hours each way was under construction at the time of this photo.
