Happy 154th Birthday, Oregon! > 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials @ Hayward Field by dailyemerald

The third day of 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials saw 21 athletes added to the roster of the United States Olympic Track & Field team. The Emerald's photo team, including myself, were speckled all throughout Hayward Field covering the seven finals that took place today. During a brief period following the men's 100 meter dash, I spent twenty minutes shooting an 81-picture panorama from the stands. The 35,378 X 10,696 pixel image covers approximately 170 horizontal degrees and 50 vertical degrees. It was taken over a period of time and does not necessarily relfect one moment. A few "stitching errors" exist as a result of multiple sequential images being taken over time as people move about.
