Tried to make a gigapan, ended up with a zoetrope.

This was supposed to be a section of a small outcrop which was jam-packed with brachiopod body fossils. I couldn't begin to tell you what I did to end up with this.

I did manage to successfully shoot the face of the outcrop, which displays brachiopod body fossils, the imprint of a gastropod body fossil (the fossil itself is in our lab now), and something which might be ooids out of their natural element. You can see the successful gigapan here:
