Wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to not being able to use the autofocus on the camera since the connection to the Epic Pro does not seem to have a way to initate a shutter response simulating a half press or using the AF button on the back. I know you can do it with the camera because I made my first wired remote with both a focus an shutter button. Any ideas other than pre-focus on estimated DOF? |

OK more puzzlement, sorry to beat this to death Used my DYO remote, can focus, use shutter fine The external trigger can be accessed with a standard 3-pole 2.5 mm jack plug. Appropriate ‘official’ remote controller with this plug is called RS-60 E3. The same pinout is used by all Pentax cameras PinPin |Pin |Description |
