“The pan-tilt precision for the EPIC is 0.36 degrees/step for tilt and 0.36 degrees/step for pan. The pan-tilt precision for the EPIC 100 is 0.12 degrees/step for tilt and 0.36 degrees/step for pan. The pan-tilt precision for the EPIC PRO is 0.04 degrees/step for tilt and 0.12 degrees/step for pan. These degrees are calculated automatically. In order to get the smallest movement possible, you need to adjust your field of view to the smallest possible. By setting the field of view, the imager will be aligned with the specific focal length of your camera. This allows the imager to calculate how far to move between each position to ensure the proper amount of image overlap. And, when combined with the parameters set for your panorama, the imager can calculate the number of images to be taken. " |
