I would like to purchase and use the Epic together with an Panasonic LX3 to generate panoramas for printing to display on walls as art work using these clips:

I’m told that the Epic create a 30% overlap as default but to create an effective printed and clipped wall panorama the overlap needs to be close to 0%.

Does anyone have experience of printing panoramas or have any incling as to whether the Epic can be tuned for this purpose?

What you want to do is shoot and stitch the gigapan as suggested. 30% overlap is good. Then, after you have the full thing as a huge file, you can crop it into as many smaller chunks as you want with 0% overlap between them. Use your photo editor to do this. Those chunks you would then print borderless and hang with the clips.
