I know there was one (very slow) a few years ago. Is there a Google Earth Layer with all Gigapans?

Hi Roger,

I first informed Gigapan about the old link to what you are looking for no longer working years ago. I have consistently reported this problem over the years and I complained about the absence of this feature in the new site as a Beta Tester.

I have never heard anything from anyone about this topic in all that time. I suspect politics are involved.

I have however implemented my own tool for seeing selections of gigapans in GE. It is here:

It’s better than what GS used to provide but can be slow to run. Please try it and let me know how you get on.

Sorry Rob I don’t know what you mean. I haven’t used groups or galleries and it is a long long time since I wrote that code. If you have the time to spell out what you are trying to do then I will look into the code for you.

Props to 661 for setting up the surfing page, even though it’s been a while since the page was up. It’s the first time I’ve seen it.

As for GS layer for GE, I don’t have the details on when and how, but I know that it won’t be long before it’s available again.
