Am I just not finding it or is an (IMHO) essential feature missing from gigapan: a map of gigapans? I’m looking at the excellent pano http://www.gigapan.com/gigapans/46401 by Mac Danzig and I’m wondering what other gigapans are available in the area. The “explore more” bar at the right is a joke, might as well be random. How come the map that locates the gigapan doesn’t show others in the vicinity? Why can’t I browse for gigapans from a map view? 360cities does an excellent job at that, for example. Am I just missing something? (Google Earth is not a satisfying answer for a variety of reasons.) |

tve, I’d love to see a mapping functionality, and geo-related gigapans as well. There’s no “when” date that I can give you, although it’s one of the features on the planning desk. |

Try this http://www.kilgore.org.uk/cgi-bin/surfing/surfe… It isn’t perfect and it is a long time since I wrote it, but it seems to be working still. |
